Patrick came over in the morning to do some Science Project involving very cute clay frogs, weird dinosaur looking tadpoles-to-frog-stage animal and small black tadpoles.
Hope we can finish them by tomorrow, or our Science GPA will fall faster then someone jumping out of a airplane at 30 000 feet. Or rather, Mr Otto Fong will be the one pushing us off. Whee~ Spiderman 3 Comes out Tomorrow! Zomgut Zomgut. Too bad no time to go watch though =/ Patrick messed with the speakers of the computer, and now it's playing "Live" Music with all those echoes. Blehs.
Went to school at 9.45 today. Saw the doctor in the morning. MC for one day. MC for PE for 7 days. Does that mean I can skip 2.4km? :D Drifted in and out of consciousness during the entire recess. Thanks for all those that asked how I was feeling! :) Had this "emotionless" face like 80 % of the time. Daryl said, "Wah why your face like no emotion one?" I actually managed to make the BG turn away by staring at him with that face while he was starting at me. Ha!. Because I recently lost my correction tape in the Second Holocaust, I had to keep asking Lionel/Jonathan for a correction tape. Thus, after i had succesfully borrowed Lionel's, i tried calling him to give it back to him. Me:"Lionel." Lionel: -no response- Me: "Lionel!" L: continues chatting away with Jonathan. Me:"Lionel. LIONEL!" L: continues talking. Me: -Thinks for 1 second.- EU! The Day Sec 2'07 experienced one of the most tragic and horrific catastrophes in the entire known history of mankind. It came forwarned by many Mathematics Teachers in advanced, saying that it was difficult. Sec 2'07 tried their best to prepare for this imminent danger. Otherwise Known as the Mathematics Class Common Test. None were spared in the class. It came swiftly after Chinese Period today, catching everyone off-guard with it's tedious and mind-boggling questions. In Addition, a measly 45 minutes time multiplied its danger factor by unimaginable amounts. I lost my correction tape that day. Nobody actuallly managed to survive the ordeal and say, "I Finished all the questions." At exactly 1.45PM today, 2A's fate of death was sealed succesfully by the invigilator who gave no mercy at all. However, after the Holocaust II, many sour muggers started to betray the Sec 2'07, blaming themselves for only managing to finish all except for one question. Brandishing their very on brand of sour lemon and acid, they started to SUAN ordinary people which were already severely traumatised. my gosh.
it felt so right yesterday. The tramp felt decent and nice to bounce yesterday. Although it was a little scary, it was okay and i was doing well. i felt confident for today. until today's. the tryouts were okay. everything felt so normal. i felt okay, did't really feel nervous at all. boom. came the bell. Ding! went blur. mind went blank. check. started jumping. for some weird reason, it just didn't feel right. i felt awkward and abnormal, like something was wrong. like something was bugging me. i ignored it, and started. it started to feel weird. i felt as though i couldnt control my body at all. it just felt wrong. gym is a very controversial sport. you can prepare your entire life for it, but you can't just control how that 30 seconds of fame you have. it just went wrong after tuck. 5 seconds later, splat. my back drop hit the side. i can't exactly remember what happened next. outcome: 6.40 after i came down i just realised how many people i let down. the coach, students, friends, seniors, hopes of everyone. and myself. what happened to the usual 7.4+? what happened to supposedly stable and perform-under-pressure person? i just let myself down. -- Congratulations to the B Division! who got GOLD1ST OVERALL. haha. you guys rock man. you guys also deserve the gold. keep it up! you guys seriously owned today. thanks for all the support you've given us, the neccessary shouts, pumpings, etc. you've also set a brilliant examples for the rest to follow today is officially ex-nanyang primary school students SCREW UP DAY. none of us actually got above 7.15 for C Division. that made me feel marginally better. marginally. i've got so manythings i want to say now. but they all store up in my brain, and then, i can't think of anything else. kudos to the RJ people, who made a clean sweep of individuals and gold, of course. i feel like saying tomorow: THANKS TO THE HEADMASTER, WHO CAME DOWN PERSONALLY YESTERDAY TO GRACE THE PRIZE PRESENTATION CEREMONY. THANKS TO THE SCREWED RIPB, WHO DID NOT SEND ANY SUPPORTERS NOR MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT THE COMPETITION. THANKS TO THE SCHOOL POPULATION FOR UNDERRATING GYM. THANKS TO ALL THE SLACKERS WHO CAME YESTERDAY TO LOOK AT THE GIRLS. of the boys teams that competed today. i've realised that this year that this competition is much more intense then last year.
LEGAL DISCLAIMER the author of this critical analysis is rather cynical and takes many irrelavant things into consideration. Please do not assume that the author is not talking about the school in general, just about the team's routines. This does not equal to the fact that the trampoline team is that good or bad. PHS rather jerky, and the movements aren't straight. not very high. routine looks sloppy. No offence, though. Verdict: 5.7/10 Possibility of Winning: 80% -- SJI This team is better then last years. Very high, with 2 proded people at the end. However, their success rate does not seem very high altogether, and their toes aren't very nice. Still, routine is extremely good. Tough cookie to eat man. The 2 people are extremely good, with their toes and legs almost perfect. The other three all have competition experience. Thus, they should be able to score pretty high. judge's should be impressed. Good thing we're after them. Verdict: 8.3/10 Possiblity of Winning: 45% - 55 % my gosh, i'm feeling evil. Hope they fall. NO OFFENCE, sorry. =/ WSS SUPER HIGH AND STABLE. my gosh, whitely boys tramp is dam imba. Their B'Div isnt so good though. Hope they screw up in one way of the other. Their coach is fierce man. i don't see much chance of winning. please die please die -prays- Verdict: 9.2/10 Possibility of winning: 20%-30% HCI our arch-rivals along with SJI and WSS. This year's team is better then last year's. However, they make unneccessary moves and their success rate is not very high. Furthermore, they tend to wave their hands around and look as though they're fumbling. Thus, impression is lost even though they're very high as well. Hope they die. woops. Verdict: 7.2/10 Possibility of winning IF THE JUDGES AREN'T *!&@##%^! biased.: 55%-65% -- I just hope that none of us will screw up tomorow, and that we will do our very best. I have a feeling that even though we may not win, we will still continue all the way, and even if the results are not positve, we're going to show that we're winners. Victory in defeat. Do our best despite the circumstances, and despite the results, hold your head up high. To my you guys rock, no matter what. 4FOUR MORE DAYS.
sometimes, i wonder if being C Division captain is really all worthwhile. Coach Hu [LOL] or better known as "mao mao" or Cat * *Side Note. They named him cat, because when he's angry, he's practically spitting with anger and his eyes are big and he somehow looks like a cat to them. Today, we practically broke out in laughter after he told us to be like "tigers". says that i have to be some representative of the team, must not appear nervous, must be practically some pillar of support to the team and keep the team organized, be in charge of them, make the school proud, and yet, bear the responsiblities that are possibly too much for me to handle. The team members all have a part to play in competition. They each have their own jobs, own conscience to answer to, and ultimately beat their ownself and possibly get a medal or two :P However, it isn't so simple for the captain, though. The captain possibly has 4 times more stress and responsibilities then the others, because he has to make sure that they don't screw up, don't embarrass themselves or the school etc. For example, today, when Milton failed, Coach Hu scolded me for not cheering him on and not helping him. Felt like telling him to shut up though. In reality, I actually did. Each of the members did. Thanks to Yuan Hao, who after Coach Hu scolded me, said, "No what, you got cheer us on."  Reads RI! if you look properly. Ruijie and KT were being stupid at the entrance of the design centre. as people were going past the design centre, Ruijie was saying stuff like "HUAN YING GUAN LING!" which translates to "WELCOME!" and "Sayonara!" which translates to "goodbye!" KT, on the other hand, was singing high notes and trying to make the people turn their heads towards the source of the sound by singing it loudly. He only got 1 person though. Ruijie said we looked like security guards for the Gym mats that are going to replace the Gym floor! yay. Gabriel finally managed to pull out a cable, but it doing so, it resulted in "T3H BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH" of the visualiser [NOT WINDOWS} , and thus, Aileen Chor [AC] knew who it was because everyone was looking at Gabriel who was innocent fiddling with the cable while looking down at the floor. Not surprisingly, he got sent to the back. Lin Sen, for being caught at the wrong time and wrong place and talking to the wrong person, got sent back too. Wenqi, after being sabo-ed and being attitude, got sent back too. Fitri said that we had a zoo. Gabriel is a giraffe, because he's skinny and likes to suan people with his height. Lin Sen is a tree, because if you flip his name around it's Sen Lin, or otherwise forest in chinese. Wenqi is the monkey, because fitri says he looks like one. LOL. Gabriel and wenqi were being cunning and sitting down [they were supposed to sit down] and "tying their shoelaces" They would tie, then untie, then tie, etc and take those few minutes to rest. Of course, the only teacher who was blur enough to not notice was AC. Random Pics!  WTHECK? use a dam ruler to measure the width! sheesh.  Daryl declares my pencil case a girl's pencil case. Went with seng henk, zeb and ruijie to design a Gym T-Shirt today. Ahem. Decided to tag along. We first went to Tat Ann Building to find the t-shirt designer, who incidentally was Zeb's friend's mum. After realizing that she could not do the T-Shirt by Monday, we decided to go to Balestier. Tough Luck. It was raining heavily. Ruijie: Aiya rain only! -Steps outside- okayokay use umbrella. This is one of the times i'm glad i'm short, because due to height differences, i didn't share my umbrella with Ruijie who shared it with Zebedee instead. In the end, they got drenched the most. Hah! We finally managed to hail down a taxi after being repeatedly splashed by inconsiderate car drivers and a damn truck. I bet pok would've swore at them. We flooded the taxi with our umbrellas. I bet the taxi driver was pissed when we entered the taxi. Woops! After chipping in some bucks for the taxi fare, we went to the Balestier place. However, the equipment was too limited, so we couldn't print the elaborate design we wanted. Thus, began 1 1/2 long hours of designing, Zebedee wearing the clothes, me trying desperately to edit, Ruijie drawing random stuff, Seng Henk being the critique. We FINALLY managed to fix a simple design. i didn't really like it however. The total cost was 16 bucks after seng henk brought it down by 1 dollar. haha. Next time i want him help me buy stuff. We walked to the nearby bus stop after that. On the way, i was being random and making fun of Zeb's name! For example, Zapazebedee! "Zeb-a-zebedee" haha. he got pretty pissed. We all took different buses back. I took 154 to Crown centre, then walked to the bus stop oppposite Lutheran Towers, took 153 to oppo Farrer Court, walked across the bridge to Farrer Court. Wow! i just realised how, spastic and screwed up [in the good way] my mother's side of the family is.
We had so many games to play last time. Murderer in the Dark, Home, catching, hide and seek, hanky panky. Murder in the Dark was extremely fun, if not a little freaky, especially if you're the murderer. It's basically like hide and seek in the dark. Except you play in a big big room, with multiple hiding corners like under the bed, behind the curtain, around the corner, under the table, or even just behind the door and lying down on the floor. The possibilities are endless. The scary thing is being the murderer [ironic!] because when you get in, you are walking into pitch black darkness. Someone can grab your leg [Qixuan!] or even attack you using pillows. Haha, of course, we had a spate of revolution of the victims against the murderers by assaulting them using pillows, blankets, etc. WOO! Home was pretty fun too. It's basically like catching, but the catcher has to guard a certain object from being touched. that object is the home. The catcher has to spot a person sneaking up onto the object and touch him, but risks dropping his guard on the object. Of course, trackers like JQ always owned everyone on this aspect. at the children's ministry!
I helped out at the children's ministry for today's Easter Sunday lesson thingy. The whole thing was about 2 hours. Quote from Ruijie:"Religionist!" hah. Unfortunately, me and Thaddeus got the most tedious part in the lesson. I'll explain that later. Singspiration! [is it spelt that way?] We at first couldn't find the songs we wanted, because the BRILLIANT producers [cough] were so brilliant that they forgot to label the stated songs with the numbers. For example, they would just put a song with its lyrics on a sheet of paper, and then, they would not put the track number. There were 50 plus songs in that CD. Of course, we were frenziedly looking for it. We would let a song start for a while, then when the lyrics started [we didn't know how the song started], then we would go "NEXT!" The Brilliant Creators put the first song at Track 22. greatt. Groups! We then split into different stations. Me and Thaddeus were in ART AND CRAFT. My gosh. at first we didn't know what was going on at all, until i surveyed the scene [ oo detective!] and finally realized what was happening. The different groups were supposed to rotate stations. Woops. We were supposed to do some pencil holder thing using paper, glue, markers, etc. Pretty okay. Austing was bragging about his "pencil holder" while it was actually 45 % of my work. Tsk. And my colouring is better then his! :D whee. Didn't lose too much white hair over the stations. phew. Food! After sum-up, we had some orange juice/ apple juice, sausage with egg, cheese and ham sandwich. I just realised i'm a terrible pourer. bleeargh. Met a new friend today as well. -- Hooray for guitar powerchords! I can play one way [a bit! xD] now. I also may be getting a new DSLR. Price range about max $1500. Woots! Rained for the first good half an hour. Pfft.
Me, Zeb, Ruijie, Pok went to J8 to eat for fun. Since KFC and Macs were infested by RI students, we went to the food court at the top level of the entire place. Bought this yong tau foo stuff. 4.10 you know! with a bowl of rice. Not worth it to me T_T. quite nice, however and made me quite full. Chionged to the Bishan Stadium! After we took attendance, it started raining. It was quite funny, because it kept becomign stronger. So, we we moved up a step. Then, as the wind grew stronger, we went up another. It grew stronger again, and we went up another. Then all of a sudden, it became dam strong, so everyone started running upstairs, where it still wasn't totally water proof. Good thing i brought my umbrella. Spent like, 4 bucks on drinks the entire time i was there. T_T While it was raining, many birds raided the soccer pit. Shayan said they were looking for worms on the soccer pitch. On the other hand, kenneth and wei xuan provided useful soccer commentory. Let's go back in time. K:And that bird runs upfield! WX: he's running amazingly quickly! K: He goes past that defender! WX: He starts flying! K: He kicks! coughs. Something like that anyway. States how bored we all were. Patrick was playing handphone games the entire time. Congratulations to Ervin, Jun Yang, Jia Xuan and WK from 2A that won prizes! Good job all of you. Jiaxuan, dont feel too bad even though you slipped and could've gotten 3rd.You still tried your best, no? Then at the end, since no one was listening to the commentory of the prizes, everyone was watching the football team playing. They were purposely wow-ing at the soccer players. Lionel Lewis was there too! Lin Sen:LOOK! THAT's LIONEL LEWIS! Me: YEA! -points at lionel- then -points at louis- heh. also, i find that this year's sec one morrison batch is kinda screwed. one class is anyway. Because there was a mini flood at the steps, the spastic sec 1s [alliteration! a few of them anyway] were using the bottles filled with beans and throwing it at the water, so that it splashed onto other innocent bystanders. Including us, Sec 2s. KT was so freaking pissed that he shouted "F*** YOU!" at a particular fat ass. haha. i share his sentiments. He got his revenge by throwing stuff at them while they were playing handphone. He used bottle caps, metal rings found on top of metal cans, sticks, etc. Sweet, sweet revenge. One of the sec ones said, "Who keeps throwing stuff at us?!" Sec twos look away. -whistles- -- Quote of the Day:"EUUUUUUU are very nice." |

At Clarke Quay. My mum's team at DP architect designed it! Seriously.
We went to some posh and cool japanese place to bid farewell to Yan Rong, my 21 [around there] year old cousin who's going to Germany for a 6-month exchange program. At Central, of course. It was quite cool, but the food was horribly expensive [like 20 dollars for a meal] but since my mum wanted to give a treat, we spent a total of 400 dollars for like 9 people. Woops. Guess she incinerated her wallet. We had like this steamboat and a grill integrated sort of cooker. Then we can put vegetables and beef at the steamboat part, and I ate Soba! Oh man i'm totally addicted to the soup sauce thingy that they put with the cold noodles. Totally delicious. I ended up putting everything into the sauce, which made it taste even better. I'm still feeling hungry though. I still haven't gotten stomachache. Woots. After eating at the super-posh restaurant [no, i'm not rich] we went down to clarke quay which is just at the back of the Central! We ate this hokkaido ice cream. Pretty interesting. Yum Yum. I ate this banana chocolate, which tastes suspiciously like the fresh banana at Island Creamery. Hmm. Yanjie was being noob by flicking me and everyone throughout the entire ice-cream eating at Clarke Quay bank.
