NYPS funfair tomorrow!

I'll try courting Death by asking LaoShu if I can go off early, at like 10.50 to 11pm so that I can reach Nanyang by 11.30am. Turns out that most people are going about that timing, so yeah :) Hope he agrees though and doesn't pull me back.

-prays-

Competition/Nationals coming up in approximately 2 weeks. Good thing is that i'm most probably competing for 2 main apparatus while high bar is unconfirmed. I feel like competing for it though.

Too bad [censored] wasn't here today because of chest pain because another person [censored] was here. Someone pointed out that when one comes, the other doesnt. Hmm, isn't it true that opposites attract? o_O

I want a pseudo-macro lense, dang it!

I really find it quite amazing how the Lord seriously helps us in our everyday lives. We usually get so caught up in our noisy and distracting days that it just clogs up our mind and we find no time to relax. There's a remarkable difference when you lead your day by yourself and when the Lord leads the day for you.

Try it!

Note to self: Never do project work with Louicius Nubbayekakus.

This rare form of a noob, which is characterized by excessive ponning and irresponsibility, usually takes on the appearance of a pimpled, horny person with hair that is standing up. He/she (unconfirmed at the moment) is usually skinny and is about 165 to 170cm in height.

Louicius Nubbayekakus, while in a group doing a project, would usually not bring the required material to do the project and thus disrupt plans. Also, he lacks skills necessary to do a project so he/she is left with nothing to do. However, when he/she is given a task, he/she often flares up and denies the responsibility.

This species of a newbie also seems to skip its CCA very often and when called often true but negative comments, it will try all possible ways to deny.

Fag Factor: 8/10.
Watch out.

Clement's phone inbox and sent messages are WRONG, imo. So much for being horny, clement. kekeke. NOTE TO ALL CURIOUS PARTIES: Don't say I didn't warn you.

Oh yes, we may be able to go to Sentosa on Sunday (till Monday) with the cousins like Serena and William, etc! Woot. Haven't been there for a long long time. I want to buy a camera and go to the Butterfly Park. (?)

Battle Techies in DotA is uber fun, I tell you. Especially when you have Eye of Skadi, Boots of Travel, Soul Booster, Radiance, Sange and Yasha and you can clear creep waves in one remote mind. Ouchy wawa.

Cut out Michael Buble today because tomorrow has gym. Still quite sore and it looks pretty red. Goodbye bubble! and hello to sore skin and to-be blister tomorrow T_T

Btw, Secondary 2 Biology is a very sensitive and wrong subject. There's some speculation that some people were sleeping on their bio textbooks flipped to a certain page. Of course, they could just be saying that they were doing research.

I want to buy a pseudo-macro lens! There's one recommended by Kenneth from Photography Club, which is the Tamron 70-300. It's sub 300 dollars, so it should be a good buy because it's quite well-recommended. Too bad that sometimes, the picture is soft (blur) though =/

SHAMELESS ADVERTORIAL: go to my flickr! It's at http://www.flickr.com/photos/17125256@N00/ . please comment and leave a tag though! The pictures are best viewed large, and the last page (page 1) are all really noob photos because they were taken when I was sec 1.

From all the Clutter;

Hello People!

This morning, the HM talked to us during morning assembly, announcing that a particular person whose name cannot be mentioned (Humpty Dumpty) had been admitted to the hospital. The police are also currently investigating. Due to the HM warning us not to comment anything about this event whether verbally or through the internet, that guy shall be known as HUMPTY DUMPTY.

Apparently (from other unconfirmed sources, so it may not be true) this happened:

It was about 7.30-7.45

Humpty Dumpty was ponning assembly in the morning and he went to the 4th floor of the Raja Block to kill time. Poor Time.

While sitting at the railing at the part which as no ceilings below to protect his fall, he was precariously perched with no form of protection. Yet, he did not come down and was acting cool. Because the temperature was about 24 degrees celsius.

Suddenly, he slipped!

And down, down down, he went.

He landed up on the field (or, Raffles Green) fortunately and did not suffer much damage other than a fractured arm. He got sent to the hospital after that.

--

I find that the general RI population are really, quite evil and unremorseful and un-sympathetic towards humpty dumpty who fell off 4 levels onto the grass patch. particularly, the gym people who were rather blunt towards this.

For example, Y.K:

"y r so many of u trying to hide the incident? dont hide it for some1 as brainless as him"

Beast was better. He was talking with RJ about that he deserved it and that he was lucky that he didn't get worse injuries.

I find that in gym, we'll get numb after a while. For example,

"Oh man, that guy sprained his ankle when he fell? ONLY???!"

Nevermind out of point here.

I also find that the guy that fell was quite, well, reckless and irresponsible, putting it in a very nice and polite manner. I view this guy in a negative light because

a) he's reckless and irresponsible (oh, you knew that already?)
b) he ponned assembly
c) he was acting cool and dealing with danger
d) he's a SENIOR in RI, so he should know better then to lead a bad example for the juniors, especially the sec 1s.

Hope he recovers, though. -cough-

--

Btw, ruijie basically sums up what happened in gym today! "michael named his blister (bubble) michael buble" So much for originality and the ability to walk.

Rafflesians | 8:16 AM

Farquhar's vengeance!

many tragedies today.

Seems to be a curse after all rafflesians, dead or alive O_O Because i'm far too lazy and tired to type everything out, you shall make do with an excerpt from kelly's blog.

"
The Raffles Curse Strikes Back

I'm not exactly a believer of curses and stuff like that but I think I'm starting to believe in this deadly Raffles curse.

Deadly's an understatement.

Just last year, 1 sec 3 RI guy died from some unknown causes, 1 ex RJC and RGS girl Joan Chan Shu Fang died from multiple cancer, and if my source is correct some other RI guy died from dengue fever.

This year, Weiqi died in January from a brain tumour and excessive bleeding. And now the RJC J1 guy passed away from who knows what after completely his triathlon.

This RJ guy, Thaddeus Cheong, was supposedly a high achiever and did very well in the many triathlons he participated in. Then he just died like that after reaching the finishing point. Nobody even bothered to do CPR or something and they just called the ambulance. By the time the ambulance came it was too late to do anything.

"

It's also quite sad how people are just randomly dying off these days. For example, some Sec 3 RI guy was trying to act cool and was sitting on the railing of the Raja Block on the 5th level. and slipped.

Wheee!

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

and all the king's teachers and prefects

couldn't put humpty dumpty back together again :(

Quote of the Day:"first day of school, some sec 3 guy falls off raja block, RJC tragedy. what's next?"-Ruijie (somewhat, recited from memory)

Waiting all Night;

Heh.

turns out that quite alot of people turned up for Cell Group today which means that the band practice was more successful than i thought. Hope this turn-out rate continues, though, because we'll be performing on the 22nd of July at our church.

Another interesting thing is that since July is YOUTH WEEK , some of the teenagers will be helping out during service by playing on musical instruments such as guitars, pianos, etc. In 3 months i'll be playing about 4 times, which is almost once every month.

Today's service subject was quite engaging, because the title of the sermon was "The Call of the Wild."

Talk about clich-edness. It so happens that a chinese book im reading for school is also a similar title. The sermon (preached by Pastor Keith Lai) was basically about Saul trying to kill David. Basically.

I'm terribly sorry about the change in colours. Woops.

Anyway, back on subject. I realised we need to:

a)Be Alone with God
b)Be Aware of God
c)Be Alert of God

more. It was quite interesting how David came to repay good with evil, which reminds me of this quote at "Mere Christianity" by C.S Lewis (i think).

"To repay good with evil is evil, to repay good with good is human, to repay evil with good is divine."

Wow.

It's also necessary for us to have a:

a) Discerning faith
b) Contagious faith
c) Patient faith

which is very vital in Singapore's hectic pace of society today.

Moral of the Story?
Cultivate a Faith Response with God.

Orange this time ^^.

On another hand, we celeberated my grandfather's birthday + anniversary of his marriage with my grandmother (maternal side). Needless to say, it was quite an enjoyable affair besides the fact that our table received the least food (at SICC) out of the rest.

The food was good, nonetheless.

It was also pretty fun taking candid shots of my cousins (whom some were quite irritated and threatened to break my camera :D) and cute shots of Megan, Qishao and Serena. Those 3 are the killer combinations, i tell you.

There was also a slideshow which was quite nostalgic as it recounted the past trips to other countries and marriages. I didn't know my sister looked THAT much like serena. In some ways, she looks abit like carmen too in one of the shots.

I DIDN'T KNOW MY BROTHER LOOKED GEEKY IN RI. HAHAHAHAHA.

Quote of the Day: "People, you do NOT need luck for exams, you need ANSWERS (cough, hack or bribe anyone?) -Yew Ngee, or Uni!

you gave me a smile
that i could never forget;

but i
waited all night long for you-
and where'd you go this time round?

Scandalism! | 7:46 AM

Scandalism!

kekeke.

Scandalism is defined as the fact at which a person is involved in a certain scandal usually involving a member of the opposite gender. In extreme (and rare) cases, it will involve a member of the same gender. However, these cases usually occur in single-ed schools. Whilst in an activity known as a scandal, the person that is in the scandal will be suspected of harboured feelings toward the other party. The other party is likewise under the same pressure. In this case, peer pressure comes into play and the subjects are usually subjected to teasing and other sort of ridiculous (yet fun) activities.

Scandals are usually caused by the discovery of feelings for the other party through certain methods. These methods include phone messages, msn conversations with a particular person, or an open confession by a certain party. In rare occurences, both parties will confess under severe pressure whether or not they have feelings for the other party.

WARNING: In Scandals, severe heartbreaks and depression may occur.

KNOWN OCCURENCES: Raffles Institution Gymnasium.

PEOPLE AFFECTED: [censored], [censored].

DURATION: A few days ago till now. It may still continue, depending on the situation.

METHOD OF DISCOVERY: A party decided to tell most RJC people that the other party was "super cute!" and "oh so cute!" and this sparked off rumours that the party has a massive infatuation over the other side.

CURRENT SITUATION: The first party is still infatuated and insists that the other party is still cute and handsome. However, the other party is nonchalent and feels quite embarrassed and does not know how to react upon this discovery.

FUTURE: not too sure. This scandal seems to be quite momentary.

[excerpt from Nellie's Dictionary for Noobs, Page 247, on Scandalism]

I should submit that. :]

Never felt like this | 8:23 AM

Elloh!

today was pretty fun on the whole, besides the part which I have to read about 300 more pages in a week or two =.=

Went to Far East Plaza today with my brother while my cousins were cutting hair at J's Salon @ Goodwood Hotel. I still can't really see the difference between Qixuan's old haircut and new one. William too.

Far East Plaza is the old place beside Goodwood Hotel, btw.

It has pretty cool eaties, like the British Takeaway (?) and other ice-cream and snack outlets. My brother and I shared this FRIED MARS BARS with ice cream which was super yummy. However, he presumes that it's super unhealthy because firstly, it's fried (with oil) and CHOCOLATE and ICE CREAM.

I found this quote on the newspaper that was stuck on the wall.

"This dish will send chocolate-lovers into heaven with its superb taste and send crazed calory-conscious people into cardiac arrest."

Well, i'm probably not in the latter as it was oh-so-HEAVENLY. The fried mars bars is actually crispy at the outside yet soft and hot at the inside with its sweetness flowing through. YUM. Fitted with the cold contrasting ice cream, -smacks lips-

Bet you're drooling all over, huh? :)

In addition, I bought this cheese sausage for $1.80 (20 cents cheaper than my school's) which was far better and delicious. As there was some sort of event going on which many small stalls were set up introducing snacks like otah, jelly, etc, there was quite alot of sinful indulgence going on.

Hope I don't get fat.

After cutting hair, we went back to my grandmother's house. As we were SUPER BORED and megan wanted to play Hide and Seek, I just played for fun and un-boredness, and

"just for the sake of it."

Surprisingly, it proved more entertaining than I thought. I actually pretended to be watching TV and eluded the attention of the seeker whilst being in the same room as him for a long long time. This proves that i'm still young at heart, eh? :)

Quote of the Day:"Do I know I like Pie?"-Serina, X 1000 times

i've never felt nothing like this on the world before
ever since you came into my life.

Keep Holding On; | 8:27 AM

Say Ouch, people.

Ouch!

Very good ^_^

Didn't manage to decorate the class today because Mr Law says that we're going to change classrooms soon (about week 1 or 2) so Ms Mabel Chia told us to hold on to the decorations first. Furthermore, she didn't have the keys with her. However, thanks to those guys that did turn up to help! Really, that action is much appreciated.

anyway, today many different things happened while I was in United Square. I was being bored and was walking around because I arrived there about an hour early =.=.

Firstly, I witnessed this post-shoplifting occuring. There was this woman about 50 years old +/- 5 years wearing casual clothes and a blue skirt and white shirt with her hair in a ponytail. She was wearing dark glasses (the old-fashioned type). She was carrying a few bags and was quite in a hurry.
Then, this man appeared behind me and started striding to her. She started walking faster but he managed to grab her arm and stop her. At first, I thought they needed family counselling because they sounded like a divorcee couple. The man would address her in a forceful yet formal tone but the woman sounded quite desperate. It turned out that the woman shoplifted a child's sandal and she tried to get away but the man (which looked quite fierce) grabbed on and didn't let go.
This proves that looks can be deceiving. Who could've guessed that a decent, elderly woman would've turned out to be a shoplifter?!

Still, I must admire the shopkeeper for his firmness and calmness and level-headedness and professionalism. I think that the shoplifter/woman was quite desperate and poor because she had to resort to stealing children's sandals. :(

Another thing happened that a guy/fag which USED to be in the class of my replacement class while taking replacement approached me with a friend of his and started spouting fluent french/german/russian/whatever language. I think he was asking which direction Orchard Road was or how to get there. He was being a super poser and pai kia and trying to act funny and act tough in front of the girls in the class by asking the teachers to constantly "relax." Bet he's a fag.
Note to any girls reading: "How a person treats his friends will be how he treats his wife later on."

Sorry bub, I don't give a damn. I said,

"No, I don't understand you." And I walked off

I WANT TO GO POND-FISHING TOMORROW WITH MY COUSINS. Some of my cousins came back from USA btw. These are 2 candid shots of them ^^

Tried to Do; | 7:49 AM

Cynical mood now.
Period.

Due to many people not going for church camp tomorrow. This results in the fact that I'm going to be stuck in the car with no one except my parents for 2 hours.

Note: It's not that my parents are bad or anything.

It's just that it's quite, no, in fact VERY SIAN with no one to talk to or have fun with while in the car except my parents who are sitting in the front probably. Thus, I will have only nellie to play with. And that only counts as 1 person!

Let's see the good side and the bad side of this 2 hour trip up to the Austin Hills Resort, where the church camp is going to be held at.

Good Side!
-no one sitting at the backseat, which means I can hog it all for myself.
-more comfortable for me
-can sleep easier by lying down

Bad Side
-Very lonely and BORING
-Siannable
-cannot talk much or play much in the car
-2 hours of nothing much

Sigh. Why did Austin have to fall sick this week! Now he cannot go and I'm stuck with nobody from my family that's going as well. Yanjie and the other cousin's families also not going. I sense great fun!

PS: This is not a direct representation of the church camp. It could be fun, it could be boring.

Well, I suppose that this is a new experience. And that whether it is fun or not, it's ultimately just up to me to decide and change my sealed fate.

On another plus side for this camp, I'm the photographer! Yay for me.

--

Bishan gym training today was kind of murderous. I shall briefly relate the 5 4 apparatus and how they were like for me. -Cough-

Floor: Horrible with a capital H. No, not the most important city of a country. The floor, aptly put, was like floor, with almost absolutely zero springiness at almost all parts of the floor. Almost died when I attempted a front sommer 360 degrees and landed in an awkward angle which contributed to the the pain at my ankles currently. Good thing is that we may be changing floor for competition.

They better.

Pommel: Didn't do.

Parallel Bars: The only thing that was okay. However, I suck at parallel bars, so it is NOT okay. I almost freaked when coach asked all of us to do a fake routine where we run through our moves. Good thing was that he said my "routine" was very smooth. Bad thing was that I didn't do much and that he was still quiet angry.

Wait, I care?

High Bar: The bar was super rough and tore all my sponge and miraculously didnt tear my hands apart. I'm glad I didn't have to do half giants and didn't get a blister just in time for church camp. Yay.

Vault: The board at first SUCKED. Of course, we managed to change it and we tried doing sukaharas and flips. However, after landing and almost twisting my ankle, coach decided to let me off. Another factor that killed my ankles. They're still slightly sore now though.

--

J8 was fun. I managed to steal some of Leonard's fries and KT's cheese fries at KFC. Surprisingly, BG wasn't there.

Purple purple at OP! xD

Sorry, I won't be able to blog from 13-15th June because i'll be away. 16th June i'll be back, but no promises on a post on that day due to extreme laziness. Tata till then.

Managed to do a screwed up routine on High Bar Today! :)

Well, you can't blame me for the lack of trying. Also, I Managed to accomplish backlayout 180 on the floor! -Prays that no one from any rival gym school comes to this blog and starts laughing madly at the accomplishment-

I also wonder why some guy like me who has a slight phobia of heights and extreme fear of pain and needles and not the adventurous type has joined gym and hasn't died from fright or quit yet. Hmmm.

Half-giants are kinda scary, but fun at the most. Especially when you have a guard against the bar to prevent your hips from slamming against the bar. Owchie wawa.

24; | 8:26 AM

Yesterday, I went to watch a dance performance "Sentio 2007" which was collaborated by several schools in a bid to raise money for the BMDP (Blood Marrow Donor Programme). My sister was there, that's why I went to watch. Altogether, many schools such as RJC, RGS, etc and Groups such as Purify and even local-based talents such as a group of children called "Kids just love to Dance" aged 6-9 joined in.

There, we have a live-up view of the back of Rosius Smithicus. Do not approach at all costs, unless you want detention and scoldings.

Pretty interesting, but I prefer Dance Night '06 and '07 though. The RJC one was pretty interesting despite us seeing it 2 times already.

Also, I discovered 2 more nice Songs from the dance performances!

"You" by Jaci Valesquez
"24" by Jem.

Try to get them if you can. LEI LONG LEI LONG.

Ate supper at Rong Guang (dunno -_-) outdoor "restaurant" outside. It's more of a hawker centre type, except it's a restaurant. Kinda difficult to explain.

Chomped down with my family (who were hungry) a total of :

Kailan,
Sambal Stingray (YUM!),
Mi Fen,
Hotplate (Tofu),
Cao mian.

Sorry for the non-chinese speaking people reading this blog. Kind of difficult to exprain here as well. note the the dishes above were for SUPPER only. I think i'm going to grow fat!

Samuel got Diamond on his Nintendo DS Lite! Zomgut.

Watched Spiderman 3 today through a VCD burnt by Matthew (not my brother) and I must say the effects are really interesting, especially Venom and Sandman. The animations were really cool, I must say. The symbiote is really cool as well when it is in its true form, all black and sticky and stuff.

It's really nice to have finally got something that you've wanted. Especially after waiting for about 30 minutes waiting for you mum to arrive =.=

It's not really nice when a bunch of people swarm over you asking what you bought after you've purchased certain items, too.

He also wishes to reconfirm the fact that he is NOT mad or crazy or requires immediate attention from the IMH, but is just overly happy at the fact that he has earned a total of 80 bucks. Albeit begging from his friends and unscrupolously (?) and despicably asking for donations. Thank you.

Apologies for not posting yesterday due to the fact that I returned home at 11pm after a long dinner @ some expensive restaurant. Good thing my father wasn't paying as the bill went up to $1100 >_>.

Yesterday, for Learning Lab, we learnt about Avril Lavigne and her recent success in the music industry.

Seems that she was quite the genius at music, singing at the age of 2 and being accepted by record labels and flew from Canada, her hometown, to New York for an audition with the company. After some initial struggles with the company (The Matrix), she finally managed to write her own songs and it was a success.

Her first hit song was Complicated in 2002.

Now, in 2007, she was married to her producer (?) and seemingly he has a great effect on her songs. Although some critics feel that he was that one that wrote most of the songs, it probably isn't true.

If you note carefully, there's a transition from more angsty songs (like My Happy Ending) to more upbeat and energetic songs, like Girlfriend that was featured in The Best Damn Thing in 2007.

Neh, just a note for you all. Sorry if i'm boring you all.

However, the point for this post is that interestingly, Avril Lavigne was nice enough (and smart enough, in fact) to release her hit song, Girlfriend, in many languages in a bid to globalize her music more.

YEP! YOU GUESSED IT!

GIRLFRIEND IN CHINESE!

Rough lyrics provided by someone on Youtube:

"hey you. 我不喜欢你女朋友. no way. 你需要一个新的. hey you. 我就会是你女朋友.hey you. 我知道你喜欢我. no way. 不是一个秘密. hey you. 我要当你的女朋友."

when I heard the version, I was trying to stop laughing so much because I just had this funny vision of her singing the song to our dearest He Jiaolian and Maomao.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Especially the last part:

我知道你喜欢我
我要当你的女朋友.

I can scarcely see He Jiaolian's face la. He would probably say:

"哇仔! 懂得怎样讲华语! 不错砸!"

Maomao would be like:

"华语讲的这么难听!失败者!"

*The author wishes to apologise for any offence caused to any party, or whatever.

before you guys pounce on me for watching R-rated stuff, may I add that the title is due to the fact that I accidentally skipped gym because I was too lazy to get up also because I was too tired.

Oh wait, they're the same! Laziness is a bad, bad thing people.

Just today, my sister received a letter from A Star. It goes something like this:

We are pleased to enclose a check of S$1000 (ZOMGUT!) as part of the A* STAR JC Science Award 2007.

Please acknowledge the receipt of the cheque by returning the acknowledgement form to us. You should send the acknowledgement form to the following address...

Once again, congratulations, and welcome to the A*STAR family!

Of course, not to mentioned her few other achievements which included 4 scholarships attained when she finished J1 and the President's Scholar (i think). Congratulations Jie! (if you're reading this, that is).

Nights that never End; | 3:46 AM

In the following few days, the author would like to apologise if you are talking to him on MSN and suddenly he either starts:

a) Spouting nonsense
b) Spamming the same word
c) Stoning (and not replying)

Why you may ask?

The reasons are simple. MSN is screwed up these few days and thus, an irritating message will randomly (and often every alternate message):

"This message could not be delivered to the following recipients:

:)Nellie:) said
blablabla"

and thus the author will have to resort to the above 3 methods to establish a connection. Of course option c) will be the case at which the author will not be able to communicate to you due to the fact that MSN messenger doesn't allow him to :(

Apologies, once again.

34 more bucks to 80 dollars! woo. Thanks to my sister for donating 10 dollars and my mum for donating a total of 12 dollars altogether now. And to the other donors as well.

ZOMGUT KAWAII. Pointed out by Ruijie.

Shameless Advertorial:

Donate to the Michael's Charitable Fund for the Poor and Needy today! Now, he requires just a small amount of 48 bucks to reach his goal of providing what, erm, the poor and needy need. Thus, donate as much as you can today and help him reach his goal of reaching 80 bucks!

Thank you.

Irresistable; | 1:22 AM

Sorry people, I just have a very irresistable, quirky, stupid and insignificant thought to share with you all while I was surfing blogs.

While surfing pok's blogs and seeing his fantasization, craze, frenzy (in a good way) over drawing his imba-ed 3D models of cars (which are freaking nice, btw), I just had this funny premonition in the future.

In 10 years time,

Pok will come up with some freaking nice car design and has joined some big big company like BMW or Mistubishi or whatever. His car design and prototype are all freaking nice.

Since i'm not some imba-designer or artist or from AEP (for a good reason), I shall just kope a current BMW rear car design and show you how it will be like.

Pretend that the design has been created by pok and we are currently in the future. Original photos provided by www.istockphoto.com

Okay fine, maybe he wouldn't have put the pig face.

is this true-

EGO TIME. turn away if you don't want to see the post.

Dear MICHAEL LEE HAN,

I am please to announce that one of your photo entries has been selected for exhibition for the Youth Category of Montage 2007 Competition. Congratulations!

Attached is the thumbnail reference.

WOOOHOOO. no, i'm not making this up.

At first, I couldn't find the photo so I was panicking and checking every USB thumbdrive and Memory Card I had. Thankfully, it was in my memory card (PHEW) and passed the deletion test.

Decided on a cliche title. hohoho.

check out the NUS Montage website @ www.montage.sg for more details. The Picture got into the Youth Category, btw.

I'm not posting up the picture because you all can go down this saturday to NUS to go hunt around for my picture by yourself! I have 2 complimentary tickets, i think. HEEHEE.

top of the world, right here; | 5:53 AM

Overslept today and woke up at 8.45 when gym started at 8.30. Woops! chionged everything and ended up at gym at 9.15. Hope coach won't be too pissed.

Wow. My mum just asked me to go down to eat ice cream when she's telling me I have cough. Wooo surprising nia.

Today, after the dental appointment (where I found out YX goes for the same dentist and company) which thankfully did not involve much teeth-pulling or fitting of anything, I went to cineleisure to join the 6J guys in some one-sided CG, which was organized by Yiming.

As usual, they were on the 9th floor of Cineleisure playing Counterstrike and playing their hearts out while shooting people's heads, bodies, etc. After making my presence known in one way or another (by tapping people's shoulders, using taohui's cap to block their vision, etc), Me, Zong ye and Zheng yang finally decided to play CS!

Sounds pretty cliche and overly-dramatic. Oh well.

EGO INDUCING PART.

ended up with a score of 61-24. HEHE. while the rest usually had higher number of deaths. heeheehee.

EGO PART ENDS.

anyway, pretty fun hitting people's heads off and flashing them with a flashbang. Okay that sounded pretty wrong.

Next, we went down to the 5th level where we received our tickets for Pirates of the Carribean from yiming who demanded payment from us. Darn, I thought he forgot.

After purchasing popcorn, Nachos, Hotdogs, etc, we were fully armed and decided to enter. A scene occurs.

Keith is holding the nachos with one hand. The container is precariously perched on one of his hand.

Keith:"Um, Michael, a little help please?"
Me:"Sure!"

-reaches over to grab a nacho and dip it in cheese before eating it-

So much for me being nice :D

Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End was pretty interesting. I quite liked the storyline and plot, although the starting was a little maluating for me because I didn't watch the first 2 movies. I especially liked Johnny Depp as he pulled off Jack Sparrow as a convincing character well enough.

Although some parts of the show were pretty scary (like the transformation of Calypso), I still have to say this show is quite worth the watch if you like the special effects as the maelstrom, the battle, etc were quite well made. As usual with the Disney movies, it had great music soundplay and the cliche-ed ending. Although, my brother still prefers the first one, I haven't watched it, so I don't care! X)

Rating:7.6/10

Sorry, father bugging me to go off the computer. Tatas!
