sick cycle; | 7:55 AM

if shame had a face I think it would kind of look like mine
if it had a home would it be my eyes
would you believe me if I said I'm tired of this
well here we go now one more time

I tried to climb your steps
I tried to chase you down
I tried to see how low I could get down to the ground
I tried to earn my way
I tried to change this mind
you better believe that I have tried to beat this

so when will this end it goes on and on
over and over and over again
keeps spinning around I know that it won't stop
till I step down from this for good

well I never thought I'd end up here never
thought I'd be standing where I am
I guess I kind of thought that it would be easier than this
I guess I was wrong now one more time

so when will this end it goes on and on
over and over and over again
keeps spinning around I know that it won't stop
till I step down from this
sick cycle carousel
this is a sick cycle yeah
sick cycle carousel
this is a sick cycle yeah

TLL lesson today was seriously lol-ish. One of the funniest we had in months though the topic wasn't really very funny. Well, we made it funny! :D Perhaps i'll blog about it tomorrow or sth when i'm feeling un-lazy.

all i have to give; | 6:52 AM

yesterday was kaboom-zangingly packed with events.

Woke up at 7.15 by my father who incidentally forgot to wake me up. Hey, it's not my fault I treat other people as personal alarms! Had to rush down to PTM and reached school at about 7.40. Woops. Signed it at 7.45 after meeting keven + junyang.

Lugged up 2 packets of drink and smuggled chocolate cream bread upstairs to eat. Heh, so much for CEC and upholding school rules.

After rushing and arranging the classroom, we started attending architecture lessons and building towering skyscrapers and sturdy structures through the clever and resourceful use of packet drinks that were provided to us free-of-charge. Hence after designing our classrooms, we decorated the corresponding tables (of parents and teachers, etc) with the colourful packeted drinks.

Great fun and laughter! (LOL LIN SEN)

the 2 teachers were late, so we were stuck with 2 parents whom 1 was quite pissed because she claimed she was in a hurry. I won't really say who, but now I know why educated people who are determined to do bad to the society are more dangerous then those that aren't. No, that parent wasn't trying to topple PAP.

oo, some parents are scary. Some parents were also trying to sneak a conversation with the teacher by asking us if they could kope a place though no appointment time. Some more, there was this person who's appointment time was 8.50 and he came at 9.50. OWNAGE.

Reached home at about 11.45 after koping 2 packet drinks. Heh.

Left home at about 1 for Newton Circus. Took MRT all the way down to City Hall where I met up with the other adv.class photog members. Waited for like 20 minutes for Gilbert (he got lost along with his father) and walked to Singapore's Favourite Durian (Esplanade, you poophead) and to the NDP Floating Parade Square thingy. Waterfeste was going on.

For the next 1hour 30mins, we were barbequed over the ocean. Didn't help that our cameras were black in colour along with the lenses which = to more heat gained. BURN!

Ended at about 4.20 and walked all the way back to City Hall MRT. Took MRT all the way to Dhoby Ghaut and went to Serangoon on the purple line. Hunted for a suitable bus stop ( first time taking bus from there ) and finally identified 317 as a possible bus.

Walked about 10 minutes searching for a bus stop. Took it to Serangoon Garden! 20 minutes late for practice, woops.

After the practice took taxi to Thomson Plaza where my siblings were having foot massage. WAH LAO. unfair. haha.

Bio Quiz was kinda unorthodox. MCQ was easier then open-ended, and I think i completely screwed my bonus question because I had no idea what it was about and ended off just barely before time ran out.

CL Compo was screwed up too. Didn't know how to write much and only did very little pages and i even forgot to put the question number.

manipulated into this i say. =.= and besides i have nothing else to blog about.

each player of this game starts off with TEN weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. people who get tagged must write in their blog their own TEN weird things/habits/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. at the end you must choose SIX people to be tagged and list their names. u cant tag back (:

Forced into it i say.

1. I have my very own imaginary friend called "Nellie." She's 14 years old this year too and is my height and is Asian. In the case of desperate males, please call "999" to get her number or email theresnosuchperson@nosuchnet.com. Thank you.

2. Contary to popular belief, I sometimes don't really like gym and feel sian about it especially before comp seasons or when there's loads of pressure on me. Sorry, rebellious.

3. I have my mum's personality + dad's looks.

4. My name has a lot of variations/nicknames. Like i'm going to tell you.

5. Unassuming dota player! And i eat patricks. haha.

6. Enjoys going on mission trips to other countries! Woot! and taking photos there.

7. I have a crazy maternal family. HAHAHA.

8. wishes that he could be taller sometimes. =.=

9. isn't stupid enough to reveal anything personal. Tip of the iceberg.

Bleak Forecast; | 8:00 PM

Just realised that this blog template allows for titles. Hooray!
Week 8's CCTs were rather unusual. Geography's test was uber weird, and there were some very easy questions and some very intriguing questions that did not require much notes to study. Hence, there were many "WTHELL"s afte the paper finished.

Mathematics was part easy and part difficult/disappointing, at least for me. The first few questions were rather manageable, not much difficulty handling them. The last question, graph-related question, was horrible for me. I had like 30 minutes to finish the question but I only did till the last 2 parts when time ran out. 5 frigging marks gone! (hopefully less)

I COULD DO THEM YOU KNOW! =/ (yeah, right)

History was usual. The questions were okay-okay, although I didn't use all the sources provided for the first question. SEQ was also manageable, yet due to the lack of time I didn't put as much stuff as I could have (note COULD HAVE) so I don't think i'll score very high for history =/ haiz.

Picture of the Day:

out of ideas
out of time
out of chances.

Happy NATIONAL DAY PEOPLE!

To commemorate this SPECIAL EVENT, the rest of the post will be done in RED! Hah.

I didn't really watch much of the NDP Parade on Channel 8 today, but I must say the location is better than the old one because there's another factor that can be utilized - Navy (SEA). The fireworks were also better (i think) and the boom boom sounds could be heard all the way to my house.

BOOM! Uh nevermind.

--

Watched Rush Hour 3 Today at Lido (Shaw Centre @ Orchard). It wasn't bad though. It's certainly more hilarious than the other 2 movies, but the storyline was lacking slightly and the ending was a bit cut-off as well.

Actionwise, it was superb like the other 2 movies with new characters employed inside. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan were REALLY GOOD.

I'm surprised it was PG13 because there were a little "steamy scenes" inside and it was quite sick at times. Watch it and you'll find out.

-Louis runs off to watch-

Verdict: 4/5

--

Oh noes, Geog CCT on Monday! With 5 topics tested.

--

yay my father bought a new CPU to replace the old 5-6 year old LAGGY and irritating one. Hooray! Anyone who's willing you can ask me for the specs for the new computer. However it can only be fitted into our house tomorrow. Oh well =/

Haha, i'm to try getting a new blogskin from magnette.

Quote of the Day:"NDP - No Dogs Pls"-Amos

Tears fall, down your face
The taste, is something new

Waiting, day to day it goes through
My lips, are sealed for her
My tongue is,
Tied to, a dream of being with you
To settle for less, is not what I prefer

This wait for destiny won't do
because this paper heart's running out of blood.

2A CLASSIFIED:

Asforementioned, this blog post will explain about 2A's unique groupings and their titles. Also, this post will also try it's utmost to convey the author's diplomatic thoughts and opinions about this group.

DISCLAIMER: No intentional harm or insult is directed at anyone. Coughs.

And here I go, in no particular order at all. Note that I don't include all the groups, only those that are more "interesting".

Group 1: Gender-Questionable People (Which include people who proclaim themselves as "females" or "males", depending on the situation)

This group consists of people whose real genders are questionable. Although they are clearly in RI, a boy's school, they sometimes proclaim themselves as "sluts", showing that they are female. They also command a secret power known as "SCREAMING" which emits an ultrasonic ear-piercing scream that stuns everyone in the vicinity for a short while. They are also capable of using an attacking method that consists of shouting and screaming vulgarities at the same time.

Known deterrents: Using an mp3 Player to defend the noise (ear plugs), using parsley to stuff your ears, telling them that there's a GUCCI SALE at Orchard Road and watch as they rush off there.

Group 2: Sleepers

This group of people, once they enter class, have absolutely no intention to listen to the teacher droning on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. Thus, they usually put their heads on the tables and start snoozing off to dreamland. Some sharp teachers occasionally spot them and instantly pwn them alive, but other blur and CMI teachers just cannot be bothered or dont even notice them sleeping and let them succeed with what they want to do for the entire day (excluding PE, Recess and Lunch) : SLEEP. This state of sleepiness is usually caused by prolonged hours of playing computer game throughout the entire night or just watching porn in certain cases. Also, some people just have natural tendencies to sleep more.

Known Deterrents: Banging on the table, calling for a teacher to notice (works in certain cases), drawing on the person, poking them, etc. If you can't beat them, join them! :)

Group 3: Pai Kias.

This group of people usually try to disrupt the lesson as much as possible by cutting off the teacher or making jokes that usually make the teacher either annoyed/amused and making the entire class laugh. However, this group does not work under a strict teachers that include the 2A Science teacher. Coughs. This group of people also rarely hand up their work and either get scolded or get away with it scot-free. They are also prone to bullying "muggers" or teasing playfully in a sense. Hah. Half of them are buaiya people, so beware before talking to them. Still, some of them are nice people underneath.

Known Deterrents: "EH, OVER THERE GOT CHIOBU!" all of them go "WHERE?!"

Group 4: No Lifers.

This vast group spans over certain miniority sections of people. This include those that play electronic devices such as handphones all day long or talk about computer games and play computer games the entire day. This also includes those that only know how to study, sleep, and eat. Talking to this group of people is either

a) sanity-destroying (too boring)

b) Gain lots of information

Known Deterrents: Show them how computer addiction can kill, and refer to guides by Ruijie why we should play Rubik's Cube instead of computer games.

Group 5: People who should be placed as R21 for Mature Thinking.

The above was just a euphemism for those people that are super horny. These guys like to disrupt the class by laughing at controversial words (such as, er, nevermind) and disrupt the class halfway by shouting horny words and making questionable noises. Where these guys get so much information about this rarely-talked about content, I do not know, and I do not want to find out. These guys also like to talk about girls, girls and more girls =.= Well at least they aren't gay. Be wary, for this contagious disease can be spread.

Known Deterrents: Introduce them to our friendly neighbourhood Bishan Gay, that stalks the KFC at Junction 8.

--

Well, I didn't name any names, did I?

Quote of the Day:"iPhone Shuffle! No screen and calls people randomly!"-Ivan

Your subtleties
They strangle me
I can't explain myself at all

times like this

i need something to believe in,

or maybe something else.

As promised, CSS Reviews!

Oh darn, i forgot to upload the photos and i'm far too lazy to stretch out my hand to get the cable and the phone and wait a kazillion years for my computer to acknowledge the presence of the phone connected to the CPU.

Sorry!

The studio seems much bigger on the screen then real-life. =.= cheaters! But the effects they use were very cool and the photographers/video cameras were like uber pro. Some of us wanted to throw the "sound making instruments" we had at it and see how much damage we caused.

Life insurance, anyone?

Seetoh (RI PREFECT, LOL) was being super spastic by shouting, "PORNSAK! I LOVE YOU." during the intermission of the advertisements just for the heck of it. Pornsak's one of the hosts, btw, and I bet seetoh just likes him for his name. He was also being very distractively funny. I think the entire RI side was super screwed up. Now I know what happens to stressed RI prefects.

When the "Shawn Supporters" shouted "Who's going to win CSS?!",

The entire RI side shouted "MARCUS!". hahaha. and we also sang a birthday song for him anyway. Happy Birthday!

Anyway, just a warning note to anyone who watches CSS in form of a synonym, H.E.L.P.

H. appiness must be acted

E. xcitement must be controlled due to presence of "live" cameras.

L. ift your signs to shield your head if camera turns your way

P. lug your ears with everything to protect your ears from ultrasonic shrills (that you can hear)

Thus, you should take exceptional note of L and P because they are one of the fundamental basics you must learn before entering and learn the art of "camera-shyness" unlike certain cam-whores who try every chance they can to show themselves on Live TV.

Coughs.

Introducing Example 1:

As donated by Ruijie, kudos. But Ruijie fails slightly because you can see his face, while my body is virtually non-existent! hwahwahwa.

Maybe it's just due to the size of the boards we're holding up.

Quote of the Day:"

all the world's a stage, and all men and women merely players says:
milton's bugging me for tickets

- Nellie .:ŢŸĶŁà:. Ki©™® give me something to believe in; number 10/13 take [14] says:
telll him you're goingto get the insect repllent.

"

Nuff said.

Give me something to believe in

as I wonder if it even makes a difference to try;

give me a.

signes.

CSS!

Haha, it was pretty good today. used this huge Giant red poster of Marcus to block my face, but the camera only caught me once but so far only my family members recognized me. :D

Oh well, he did pretty good (exceptionally well, in fact) so he earned a well-deserved 23.5 which was 2nd best only to Shawn who got 24.0 (whom did very well too!) So as a very cliched and diplomatic answer, they both did very well

too tired to blog in detail, but there were lots of funny parts including Seetoh (RI prefect) and PORNSAK. (one of the host's name)

haha

This blog is partly dedicated to Wendi!

Haha, asformentioned, this guy ran 4.2km in 21 minutes (you got that right) without much training, and without PE uniform which means that he ran in UNIFORM. which probably sweated twice as much one usually does.

Anyway, after running the entire race, he unfortunately fainted and lost a bit of his memory temporarily but was quite upset that he did "collapse". However, he did manage to finish the race + win points for the house. So Wendi, if you're reading this, don't worry okay because you did your best! Really!

Now the story's played out like this
Just like a paperback novel
Let's rewrite an ending that fits

Note to remember: Do not try gaming on Microsoft Wireless Keyboards simply because there are a lot of buttons that don't work and the keyboard structure simply is not fit for gaming. Still, the palmrest is pretty nice and the buttons are very easy to press.

Happy Birthday to Huili, Jiayi and Tabitha on the 5th August! Funny fact about my ex-class that we seem to have loads of corresponding birth months. For example, we have about 7-8 people born in the first 2 weeks of March while August it's similar too.

Hope the Korean missionaries are safe. Or are they already deceased? =/

Well I'd hope that since we're here anyway
That we could end up saying
Things we've always needed to say
So we could end up staying

And I know how to solve a rubik's cube now! Hooray! -please imagine a smug face plastered right here- But i'm feeling guilty about skipping numerous gym sessions but it's not really my fault!

Conscience: You know it is.

Quote of the Day:"

造句:既往不咎

Kevin: 今天,老师叫我们造“既往不咎”这个词语.

"
For the Kan Tangs(potatoes) out there, the quote above is translated into english below (roughly):

Create a sentence: Ji4 Wang3 bu4 jiu2 [disappointed]

Kevin: Today, our teacher taught us how to use "disappointed" in our sentence.

Mind you, it was chinese CCT and almost half the class got it wrong because everyone forgot or didn't study it. And of course he got it wrong =.=

And now, behind me we see a particular species of the scientific name Samuelicious Noobikakus Ubungas. Apparently caught with nothing to do, he should just go into the room and let Mickey Mouse eat him. :) This particular species seems to have nothing to do and is happily preoccupied by staring at the screen and drooling randomly. Furthermore, he is being very insensitive by accusing the honest author's remarks and adding his own insulting comments. Thus, he should learn how to distinguish fact and fiction and get a life because he's being stupid.

Period.

PS: Did i say stupid? Oh sorry i meant that he was being normal. which actually means stupid, but he's normally stupid. Aha. Fine, i exaggerated things a little, Okay?!

And the ubungas is back in action by being a total noobcake. Go Mickey mouse! >:

I'm gonna make it all right but not right now
I know you're wondering when

and i'm wondering if it's all worth it.

hello to take 14!

Apologies to the avid readers of this blog for the lack of posts.

There's Subject Combination Talk tomorrow at RI! So far i'm considering the following options:

a) Triple Science (Bio Chem Phy) + Literature!
b) Double Science (Bio Chem) + Literature + History!

Problem with a): My physics is seriously a "SHI BAI ZHE!" subject and I wonder how i got 17/20 for the first quiz and got slaughtered for the second one (8/12). Hah.

Problem with b) I quite like history, but my history scores fluctuate ALOT. Some tests i can get quite high while the others i get below average =.= but i'm quite interested in it. Another factor is that not taking physics will restrain me from jobs like engineering and construction, etc.

but i cannot seem to get the hang of physics =/

Quote of the Day:"Are we going to the biscuit factory?"-Pok

wonder if you know already;
and i'm having second thoughts about this.
