2A Drama Production '07!:

The House of Spices!

Mush as Portia

Ping Yen as Antonio (Ravichandran Thiragasamy Ganyappa Son of Rajkumar Hirani Santoshi Subramaniam. Or sth like that, at least)
Lin Sen as Gratiano.

Etc, etc.

Yours truly was the main Dramaturge (in charge of creating the Drama Challenge Oral Defence Script.) and Ensemble Dancer. So, I had the excellent opportunity of sweating all the way down (ensemble dancers were supposed to wear class t-shirts + jeans) to the LT whilst carrying one of the arc way lengths with Lionel. Adib actually was crazy enough and took the other arcway down by himself.

Quote from Seng Henk: "The most entertaining performance." haha. I think the audience was laughing throughout the play (most particularly at Wei Xuan) because his shrieks along with KT's were hysterically hilarious. Mush's acting was superb as usual, and I bet Rosie Smith + that RP person was impressed.

The questions the judges asked were actually like in increasing difficulty. Mush answered the first 2 pretty well, though the third one was prettyyyy difficult. Don't know if he was able to address it properly though.

Still, i'm quite sure the class benefited a whole lot from this play despite the initial difficulties! Go 2A! :D

Hooray for more mugging this few weeks! Now with less Drama Challenge + less CCA, much more time should be allocated to mugging (not if they're spent procastinating and slacking).

Introducing the newest disease in schools that affects it particularly before important exams today...

The "Slacastinzus" disease.

This disease affects the brain and induces it into a dreamy state of an illusioned mind. Simply speaking, it gives the victim a hallucination that for now, one should constantly not do homework and instead engage in leisurely activities like shopping, playing computer games, etc.

It most commonly happens about 2 months before end-of-years where people have just finished the term and are not keen on studying again. Hence, not much work is accomplished and basically time is wasted.

The Consequences include last minute-mugging where a high amount of work is compressed into a short time span and one tries to process it as quickly as possible. This can have 2 possible outcomes:

a) The Victim is stressed out and potentially breaks down. Fails for exams and gets pwned by the school.
b) amazingly gets super high results and finds that under stress one works better. Continues to work on and becomes a mugger.

however, a) is more common nowadays. Thus this concludes the current update on the situation where over 30%* of students are already affected.
