Gosh, haven't blogged in eons, ages, and 5 days.

6J'05 Gathering! :) at Pasir Ris Park!

Was prettyyyyy successful, I must say. Kudos to Chern Hwee and Han Bin who managed to organize it (with a little bit of help here and there) Everyone bought a little bit of food (chicken nuggets, raw chicken wings, Pasta, limited supply of Fried Rice, sanwiches. And before we knew it, we had too much food to eat.

First half of the evening was spent combating the persistent light rain which we valiantly tried to block using wire mesh (with plastic wrap) and a variety of umbrellas.

It didn't really catch on till we spammed about half our firestarters, 820974971 matchsticks, truckloads of charcoal and JM's prowess at building barbeques (what a weird term) and fortresses.

It was good time eating and talking with people you haven't really met for a p-r-e-t-t-y long time, and somehow I became (pseudo) food checker for all the satay, chicken, etc :S

I left early to avoid taking home my pasta >:D Had fun! Pictures are on my facebook, too.


PS: the place was horribly muddy.

There was another time, where I was taking 855 (bus service, for the uninitiated) to...somewhere. Some tourists, presumably, came on board the bus looking for Queenstown Secondary (which they kinda missed after looking at it zoom past) they seemed to like taking photos, though actually they weren't supposed to be on public transport) and then they suddenly asked to take a photo, with me o_o

well, for all those that know me for my vunderful camera aversity, I decided to just go with them.

It was nice, somehow, talking to them :)

Just a random incident that happened on what seemed to be an ordinary bus ride.

And it was pretty fun, amidst the lateness (haha, the ironicality ironically came true), late night/early morning rushes, OST, refusals to get wets (TSK, spoilsport), spammages of different drinks and embarrassed laughter, limited supply of camera space (sorry!), butterflies in the park/stomach, the sunny weather (NO RAIN!! Thank God), sabre-toothed dogs, nice notebooks, fat and furry dogs, forced songs, secretive talks and exclusions and the phailure club.

we did not fail! (I hope)
